WHEN THE BUSINESS OUTGROWS ITS STRUCTURE

Growth changes
what leadership requires.

The next stage is not always about working harder. It is about giving people the clarity, authority, and support to move the business forward.

01

Too many decisions still depend on the owner.

02

Capable people need clearer responsibilities and authority.

03

Growth is creating more complexity than current management practices can handle.

04

New leaders need preparation and a practical transition plan.

HOW BIC HELPS

From direction
to day-to-day execution.

Whether you’re expanding, improving how the business runs, or preparing the next generation to lead, the work starts with the business you have.

01

Business assessment
& growth roadmap

Identify what needs to change, what matters most, and where to start.

Understand how the business actually operates, then turn priorities into a practical path forward.

02

Leadership, structure
& accountability

Clarify roles and decision-making, strengthen management practices, and support culture through training and consistent leadership.

Give capable people clear expectations and the authority to act.

03

Operational improvement
& implementation

Work alongside the team to improve processes and execute changes, introducing technology, automation, and AI where they serve a clear purpose.

The goal is a better-running organization—not more tools to manage.

04

Leadership transition
& ongoing advisory

Prepare incoming leaders, establish expectations, and support continuity as responsibilities change.

Help the business move into its next chapter without losing what made it worth building.

EXPERIENCE IN PRACTICE

Innovation is practical.
Execution makes it real.

Selected examples from George’s operating and executive experience—connecting leadership, people, and new ways of working.

LEADERSHIP, GROWTH & CONTINUITY

Building a foundation
for the next generation.

Vicky Bakery

Ten years of consulting included helping develop the licensing structure that laid the foundation for the subsequent franchise model. George later served as CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors across all Vicky Bakery companies.

During approximately one year of his executive tenure, the brand opened one corporate store and six franchise locations. George strengthened corporate staffing and clarified responsibilities to advance pending expansion plans, and helped complete the planned transition to the founding family’s third generation ahead of the anticipated timeline.

Leadership in the room

The CMO proposed Baker’s Bench’s full-day, convention-style format. The marketing department organized it, and all corporate departments presented. George opened with the roadmap and closed with a summary.

TECHNOLOGY WITH AN OPERATING PURPOSE

A new solution.
A workable rollout.

Marina Palms Yacht Club and Residences

In 2024, George guided the evaluation and rollout of battery-buffered, ultra-fast EV charging. The work brought together the board, residents, and technology providers around resident needs and infrastructure constraints.

Practical planning, community engagement, and staff training connected the technology to the people who would use and operate it.

ADS-TEC Energy identified the project as its first ChargeBox deployment at a multifamily residential complex.

THE APPROACH

Understand the business.
Design the response.
Help execute.

Every business has an operating system.
The question is whether it is intentional—or accidental.

Technology can amplify a sound organization. It does not replace clear leadership or resolve confusion on its own.

  1. 01 / UNDERSTAND

    See how work really happens.

Look beyond the organization chart to decisions, responsibilities, information, and the way people work together.

  2. 02 / DESIGN

    Make the priorities clear.

Define what needs to change and put the structure, expectations, and leadership practices in place to support it.

  3. 03 / EXECUTE

    Turn the plan into practice.

Work alongside the team, support training, and help new ways of operating become consistent habits.
